This workshop (scheduled for Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm) will take place at the Real Colegio Complutense Harvard. It will also be accessible through Zoom, allowing participants from around the world to join.
The primary focus of this workshop is to delve into the latest scientific advancements and knowledge surrounding functional foods, bioactives, food supplements, and their impact on human health. However, the spotlight will be on elucidating the links between diet and migraine, a condition that affects millions of people worldwide.
As a leader in the field, Professor Daniele del Rio will bring his expertise to the workshop, sharing insights from his research at the University of Parma. This initiative aims to highlight the significance of a healthy lifestyle and educate communities on making informed dietary choices.
One particular highlight of the workshop will be the presentation of the "Parma Model" of lifestyle community education initiatives. Developed in Parma, Italy, this model has been successful in fostering public-private interaction and encouraging individuals to take charge of their well-being.
The workshop will adopt a hybrid format, allowing for both face-to-face and virtual participation. Attendees will have the option to join in person at the RCCHU Conference Room or connect remotely through Zoom, ensuring accessibility to a diverse audience.
The Foundation OnFoods is thrilled to host this workshop, which promises to provide valuable insights into the relationship between food bioactives, dietary choices, and overall health. The event will offer an opportunity for experts, researchers, and individuals passionate about the field to exchange knowledge, engage in meaningful discussions, and explore potential collaborations.
