The Mentorship Program of Spoke 6, in collaboration with Spoke 7 of NODES, is organising the third seminar, scheduled for Friday, 20 June 2025, from 10:30 to 16:00, at Simbiosi – Innovation Center Giulio Natta, in Giussago (PV), entitled: "From research to enterprise: sustainable strategies for public health."

The seminar explores the topic of sustainability through an integrated view that spans the entire supply chain, from industry to healthcare. The meeting will explore the development of sustainable technologies for efficient use of environmental resources, circular economy strategies and waste recovery for the extraction of bioactive molecules. The nutraceutical and therapeutic potential of such molecules will also be explored, with a focus on their role in combating malnutrition.

To complete the experience, a guided tour of the host company will be offered – a valuable opportunity to observe sustainable technologies already in operation, set within a natural context that embodies the values of innovation and environmental responsibility.

What is Simbiosi

Simbiosi is a company based at the Innovation Center Giulio Natta in Giussago (PV). It was founded on the foundations of agro-environmental research and development projects, through which nature inspired the development of technologies focused on resource efficiency, the circular economy, and nature-based solutions. Today, Simbiosi brings these technologies to the market under the concept of “Environmental Producers”, serving industries, utilities, and real estate owners.
Simbiosi's mission is to use all natural and energy resources responsibly – optimising use, reducing atmospheric emissions (e.g. CO₂), valorising waste, protecting and regenerating biodiversity and soil, and producing energy from renewable sources.
