The OnFoods Foundation as a guest at the CIRFOOD District for the First Collective Catering Summit. Professor Daniele Del Rio's speech in the "Innovation Stories" slot.

Responsibility is the guiding principle, the strong motivation that drives the Collective Catering sector, an essential service for the Country's System that deserves to be at the center of a wide-ranging, in-depth, and proactive debate, to contribute to ensuring health, well-being, and quality of life for all. In one word: future.

However, to build the future, we must also take care of the present, together. We believe that cooperation is the foundation for innovation and that trust is the path on which to take new steps, necessary to give the right value to the service that collective catering offers every day to millions of Italians in terms of public health, nutrition, food education, supply chain sustainability, employment, well-being, socialization, and welfare.

On World Food Day, promoted by the United Nations, we have therefore chosen to create the First Collective Catering Summit, to share the perspectives of a strategic sector for public policies and to analyze and enhance the habits of the new generations, starting from listening to Gen Z, the present and future of our society.
