We are pleased to announce the publication of a new article that explores the complex relationship between early environmental exposures and childhood obesity through the exposome framework.

Focusing on the critical "first 1000 days" of life, the narrative review examines how various exposures—ranging from air pollution and urbanization to nutrition, socioeconomic status, and internal metabolic responses—can influence key biological processes such as adipogenesis and glucose metabolism. The article highlights the importance of early, multidisciplinary interventions and a deeper understanding of gene-environment interactions. By identifying what constitutes a "healthy exposome," this research aims to support the development of personalized prevention strategies to reduce the risk of obesity and its long-term health consequences.
