The project was funded by the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) under NextGenerationEU, as one of 14 Extended Partnerships within Mission 4 – Education and Research. The PNRR project has now concluded, while the OnFoods Foundation continues to build on its research, network and results.
Through articles, working papers and policy briefs, OnFoods promotes open science practices and transparent knowledge dissemination. The research addresses topics such as nutritional health, food system resilience and the right to food, contributing to informed dialogue between science, policy and society.
Scientific research and public communication move at different speeds. OnFoods Magazine bridges this gap by translating research findings into accessible and reliable content for a wider audience. Articles, interviews and updates support informed discussion while maintaining scientific accuracy and credibility.
Cascade Funding complemented the programme by enabling additional collaborative projects with strong SME involvement. These initiatives reinforced technology transfer, pilot validation and applied experimentation within the national innovation ecosystem.
